  5.  Throughout this guide it is assumed that the diskette supplied with the
  6.  printer is inserted into drive A:.  If the diskette is inserted into 
  7.  drive B: please substitute B for A.  
  8.  When typing in command please do not include the quotation marks.  These
  9.  are used for clarity in the documentation.

  13.               Installing the Windows Printer Driver into Windows 95:
  14.               ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

  16.    Note: Only for the installation of Windows 95 printer drivers it is 
  17.          necessary to use the Windows 95 driver disk !!
  18.          For the printer driver installation of Windows 3.x, the additional
  19.          TrueType fonts and MS-DOS applications is the standard driver
  20.          disk necessary.

  22.    1) Click on the "Start" button.
  23.    2) Choose "Settings".
  24.    3) Choose "Printers".
  25.    4) Click on the "Add Printer" icon.
  26.    5) Click on the "Next" button.
  27.    6) Make sure the "Local Printer" radio button is selected.
  28.    7) Click the "Next" button.
  29.    8) Click once more the "Next" button.
  30.    9) Click the "Back" button.
  31.   10) Click on the "Have Disk" button.
  32.   11) Insert the floppy disk into drive A:
  33.   12) Click on the "OK" button.
  34.   13) Choose the printer model number.
  35.   14) Choose the printer port that the printer is connected to.
  36.       LPT1 is the most common.
  37.   15) Click on the "Next button.
  38.   16) Modify the printer name if desired.
  39.   17) Click on the "Finish" button.
  40.   18) If you are requested to insert the the source disk of file
  41.       "....DRV", please indicate your floppy drive (A: or B:).

  46.                  Installing the TrueType Fonts into Windows 95:

  49.    Note: Only for certain printer models the additional TrueType
  50.          fonts are available.

  53.    1) Click on the "Start" button.
  54.    2) Choose "Settings".
  55.    3) Choose "Control Panel".
  56.    4) Double click on the "Fonts" folder.
  57.    5) Open the "Files" menu on the menu bar.
  58.    6) Choose "Install New Fonts".
  59.    7) Click on the "Drives" combo box and choose drive A:
  60.    8) Windows will read all the Font names and list them in the "List of
  61.       Fonts" window.
  62.    9) Choose the Fonts you wish to install and click the "OK" button.
